Introduction:
We developed Scorecards to help track key performance metrics for Microsoft Operations group.
Business Challenge:
With regional operating centers in all over the world, there was no central place to monitor the overall performance of the organization against its key goals and targets. Microsoft needed visibility into organization-wide metrics,
such as cycle time and customer satisfaction.
Technology Solution:
Working with Microsoft, we developed a portal-based Reporting Dashboard to track key performance indicators and present them via a scorecard interface. Each scorecard allows the user to drill into the metrics displayed to uncover additional details and specifics in real-time. The solution leveraged SharePoint, Business Scorecard Manager, SQL Server Analysis Services, SQL Server Reporting Services, and SQL Server 2005.
