Children's Hospital CF Clinical Trials


Children’s Hospital Therapeutic Development Network manages clinical trials for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The goal was to increase the speed and quality at which clinical trials are assigned to patients at care centers through web enablement initiatives leveraging collaboration software. Affirma Consulting implemented a Microsoft SharePoint 2007 Portal in an extranet hosted in a medium farm behind an ISA Server and increased throughput of clinical trials key to patient's health and discovering a cure.

Microsoft Learning Nexus


Microsoft off-shored development of their external learning portal to create a central location for MS Employees to create opportunities for which MCTs and CPLSs would be selected. The project had large architectural issues and was going to miss its deployment date by 3 months. Our team took over the project under tight deadlines and Microsoft Learning Nexus was launched on time and have thousands of opportunities that now are managed at one central location using SharePoint and Web Technology.

Cascadia Community College


Cascadia needed to upgrade their system from SharePoint Portal 2003 to 2007 that was currently used by students, instructors, employees and faculty. Upgrading and migrating large amounts of content was needed. Our team successfully gathered data from stakeholders on feedback and improvements desired around existing site migration thousands of pages/lists from 2003 to 2007
