The Challenge

X2 Impact came to Affirma with the idea for a custom iPhone application that gives coaches and trainers direct, real-time information about the impacts their players are receiving during a game, allowing them to assess players’ health and ability to continue playing.
What We Did

We built a native iPhone and iPad application, using
Objective-C, to pull data from a cloud-hosted SQL Azure server receiving
input from base stations at games.
The mobile business intelligence data allows them to assess
players without having to disengage from the game.
The Result

Integrated health data, surfaced via X2's custom iPhone application, enables coaches and trainers to make more informed assessments of their players’ health and ability to continue play in real-time, from the palm of their hands.
Coaches now have access to relevant information without having to disengage from the game.
