The CPE Store – Search Engine Marketing (SEM) with Google AdWords
The CPE Store, which provides continuing education courses to accounting professionals was looking to drive traffic to their website, and ultimately increase and convert sales. They have been subsisting on a traditional model of mailing out print catalogs and sending an occasional marketing email. However, this approach was not only costly, but not scalable. In addition, they were missing newly minted CPAs, who mainly engage via digital mediums.
What We Did
Affirma performed a thorough keyword and competitor analysis in order to develop and implement a comprehensive Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Google AdWords campaign. We configured and integrated Google Analytics; created campaigns and landing pages; and set up appropriate tracking code. In addition, Affirma created retargeting campaigns with Facebook.
Within 2 months, The CPE Store reduced their expenses for traditional catalog mailouts by 38.8%, yet saw a 14.1% increase in sales. Affirma continues to support The CPE Store’s SEM strategy with ongoing monitoring, adjustments and experimentation to ensure they stay ahead of the competition.
